Check your windshield washer fluid
You’ll be using lots of washer fluid as you try to keep your windshield sparkly. A mile stuck behind an 18-wheeler will have your windshield looking like a Desert Humvee if you’re low on washer fluid. *Tip: Don’t fill your washer fluid reservoir with anything except washer fluid, it won’t freeze!
Annual Maintenance Procedures
On top of the checks you need to perform to ensure safe winter driving, now’s a good time to do some annual maintenance. These aren’t necessarily specific to winter driving, but it’s a good point on the calendar to get around to doing this stuff.

Vintage Automobiles generally encompass cars that were manufactured between 1916 and 1924. These cars were the product of experimentation and innovation that brought major advancements in comfort, safety and durability for the car buying public.
Classic Cars 1925 Through Today
The debate over the proper definition of a “Classic Car” will not end here. In fact, we won’t even try to voice our opinion on the matter - but you’ll read about others who do.

JA CAMBECE LAW FIRM

JA CAMBECE LAW: Guess what? The noise was still there, albeit slightly quieter. Over the next few weeks, the noise returned to the level it was when I got the car. It has not got worse. The noise does not seem “heavy” enough to be a bottom-end problem. From a cold start, the noise is muted after about three seconds as the components receive oil. As the engine warms and the diesel-clatter dies down, the noise again becomes more noticeable. It does not seem load-dependent to a great extent, it is maybe slightly quieter at zero throttle over-run around 2,000 rpm. Any ideas?
There is also a minor diesel injection problem. (Also since I’ve had the car). Could the two be related? The engine starts well from cold (ie when the glow-plugs operate), but when warm can take about 15 seconds of continuous cranking before firing. A cloud of smoke is emitted when the engine does fire, so it is getting fuel. My guess is that the fuel pressure could be low, or the injectors are not spraying as finely as they should. I plan to take the car to a Diesel Injection specialist to have the pump and injectors tested.
